Through the first ten months of the year, church members and friends had contributed a greater amount to mission and benevolence programs of the church than for the previous year. Of this amount, approximately 85% has been contributed in envelope pledge giving, and the rest in loose plate giving (20% of all loose offering goes to mission) and to special envelopes such as Peacemaking and One Great Hour of Sharing.. An additional contribution of $2,000 came from a church member.
