The One Great Hour of Sharing offering this year came close to the budgeted figure. The Maundy Thursday offering was more than twice last year’s. It will be added to last year’s offering, which hadn’t yet been set out. The Good Friday offering to a Presbyterian cause in the Middle East was $239.40. Collections for the Indian earthquake came to $245 and for El Salvador, $50. Mission treasurer Eulalia Swain said at the Session meeting she would be sending these offering receipts out immediately now that the “cash flow” problem has eased. She has already sent out a substantial amount in Mission funds. Additionally, $1,473 has come in for the Smith Fund in honor of Randy Provost.
