PRAYER REQUESTS

There are Welcome Visitor/Prayer Request Cards in pew racks. Please fill one out if you are a visitor, would like a visit from the Pastor, would like to become a church member, or have a prayer request.

CHANCEL FLOWERS

The flower chart is on the bulletin board downstairs. If you would like to honor a friend or loved one (or their memory), simply jot your name down in an open slot on the chart. Also, fill out one of the envelopes and either leave it in the church office, give it to Deacon Richard Paz, or place it in the offering plate. Only one request per Sunday please. the cost is $30.

VOLUNTEERS

The Deacons rely on the congregation to help them with their activities: These include the Chancel Flowers, Activity Period, Coffee Hour, bell ringing and other essential parts of our life together. Please help them by volunteering.

FOOD COLLECTION

The church receives its food collection on the second Sunday of each month. The children collect the food from people in church and bring it forward with the offertory. Suggested items are canned fruit juices, cereals, dry milk, baby foods, rice, noodles, pasta sauces, etc. The food is brought to the Queens Federation of Churches office in Richmond Hill and from there it goes to Jamaica.

PRAYER WARRIORS

The Prayer Warriors meet every Sunday after service. See Richard Paz or Dave Hab for more details.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Sunday School begins at 10AM each Sunday under the direction of Karen Wood. Our teachers are Michele Gilliam, Lydia Tembo, Pat Young, Priti Banerjee and Irene Balram. The leader of the Youth Bible Study is Karen Wood.

ADULT BIBLE CLASS

An Adult Bible Class meets each Sunday morning at 10:15 and is led by the Pastor and Will Schmidt. Dave Hab also leads a Bible Study on Wednesday evenings.
