About the event
To help celebrate our 100th birthday at the First Presbyterian Church of Forest Hills, we're hosting a 3-Part History of Queens Series.
Join us on Zoom with Linda Fisher as she walks us through the history of Queens and what made it the world's borough it is now. Our first two sessions will be on Zoom, followed by a walking tour of our Cord Meyer neighborhood on May 6th. RSVP to receive an event link and to receive updates if there are any schedule changes.

About Linda
Linda Fisher is a licensed NYC tour guide and New York City native with a BA in Urban Studies from Queens College. She conducts walking tours in Queens, where she has lived for 38 years. Licensed in 1996, she worked as a Big Apple Greeter, and is a docent and guide for the Municipal Art Society, giving tours of Grand Central Terminal, Elmhurst and Jackson Heights. In 2014 she began leading the World’s Fair History walk for the Flushing Meadows-Corona Park Alliance. She also leads food/history tours in Flushing, Queens for New York Adventure Club, and facilitates mahjongg socials in Bryant Park.
