About the event

The pastor and several church and community members will be participating in this year's Queens Pride Parade, a celebration of LGBTQIA+ people and culture. This participation is to show that we accept and care about the LGBTQIA+ community.  All are welcome and invited to march in the parade this Sunday.  We will meet at 37th Avenue and 89th Street in Jackson Heights at 11:30.  (There will still be a church service at 11:00 for those who will not be participating in the parade - a guest preacher will be there.)  There is no cost, and the church is registered to march along with the Reform Temple of Forest Hills. The parade begins at noon. Those who attend church service are welcome to come afterward.

The New Queens Pride Parade and Multicultural Festival is the second oldest and second largest pride parade in New York City. Found in 1993, it is held annually on the first Sunday in June, in the neighborhood of Jackson Heights on 37th Avenue. We will be celebrating our 30th anniversary of Queens Pride on Sunday, June 4th, 2023 from 12:00PM – 6:00PM on 37th Avenue in Jackson Heights!
