Growing Community, Nourishing Neighbors

Since the start of the pandemic, our sidewalk food pantry has been a lifeline for our community—providing hundreds of families with access to nutritious food when they needed it most. What began as an emergency response has become a cornerstone of mutual care in our neighborhood.
Building on that success, we're excited to share that in 2026—in partnership with Central Queens Mutual Aid—we transformed our underused lawn into a thriving community garden. Working alongside dedicated volunteers, we've cultivated organic produce including tomatoes, peppers, strawberries, and other fresh vegetables. Every harvest is shared freely with our neighbors, strengthening food security and building connection one plant at a time.

This wouldn't exist without the generosity and commitment of everyone who has contributed their time, energy, and care. To our volunteers, donors, and supporters: thank you for believing in this vision and helping us turn it into reality.
We're just getting started. If you'd like to get involved—whether by volunteering, donating supplies, or simply stopping by to pick up fresh produce—we'd love to have you join us.
